Eric Fitts is a musician, performer, and educator based in Chicago Illinois. He specializes in guitar and upright bass. He holds a B.A in Jazz Studies from Eastern Illinois University, where he studied under Scott Hesse and Paul Johnston. He has toured nationally and recorded on several records at the professional level. He has played with Rebecca Rego and the Trainmen, Grassfed Collective, Claws of Joy, Lupe Carroll, Primitive Lights, Fiona Kimble, the Bashful Youngens, the Prairie State, the Phantom Broadcast, Immediate Family, and the Dailies. He released his first solo record “Notes from a Future Self” on bandcamp in 2019. He currently teaches private lessons in person and online through zoom.
